Our research indicates that Bishop Hill Guest House was built in 1850 or earlier. We believe this home was built by a Mr. Barnes and later was transfered to William S. Turner. It stayed in the Turner family until April, 1992 when George I. Todd purchased it from Mary Cardillo, a direct descendant of William S. Turnner. We purchased it from George I. Todd in 1996. In 2006 we began restoration of the original home and completed the restoration in 2008.
